Is there a 'rewind' function?

It might sound like an odd request, but it would be very useful to know what the weather was like over the past 48hrs or so. I look at wind farm generation and to be able to look at what weather patterns had actually occurred to obtain the recent generation (or lack of) would be a very interesting learning tool. I am not aware of any weather app/website that easily does this without having to download historic data. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
