The folks at NOAA/NWS forecast that the first significant severe weather outbreak of 2019 may occur on Saturday, as a powerful storm system moves into the Plains.

Enhanced risk of severe storms are possible with damaging winds and tornadoes. Some larger population centers in enhanced risk area are Memphis, Bartlett, Southaven, Greenville and Collierville.

Stay safe and get up to day rain/thunder forecast.
