@TomSlavkovsky perhaps you should change the icon to a gear and the title to “settings”. It would make it a little more obvious.

On my iPhone, on the app, I finally found settings (icon under the Home iconas I recently learned). I then scrolled down (also not obvious). I changed from C to F and it automatically asked me to log-in, which I did and the switch stuck. I know I am forgetting something, but the key, in addition to being logged in (on the app on your iPhone!), is to scroll all the way down in Settings to find Save (in red, not grayed out). I did first log into the website, but noticed it was already set to F. Not sure if just then logging into the app made the difference (since settings are supposedly in the cloud) or if actual saving on the app while logged into the app did it.

I was able to locate preferences for the app on my iPhone (icon under the Home iconas I recently learned). After that, I went to the bottom of the page (also not obvious). The setting was easy to modify; I just went from C to F, and after being prompted to check in, the new setting took effect immediately. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but if you're already logged in (on the app on your iPhone! ), the last step is to find Save by scrolling all the way down under Settings (in red, not grayed out). I did first access the site, but found that the temperature had been pre-set to Fahrenheit. I'm unsure if it was simply logging into the app (as app settings are ostensibly stored in the cloud) or saving app changes while signed into the app that performed the trick.

@Wolff-Yesenia Hello, you are mostly likely talking about different application. Our unit settings are located in the side menu in the Settings.

To change the temperature scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit on iOS devices, go to Settings > General > Language & Region > Temperature Unit > Fahrenheit. On Android devices, go to Settings > System > Languages & input > Languages > Add a Language > English (United States) > Set as default > Temperature unit > Fahrenheit. More if you cannot understand through it then you do not need to worry about it.

Great! I'm glad that following the guidance you provided was helpful for me and allowed me to change the temperature scale on my mobile device. Thank you for sharing this information with the community. If I have any further questions or concerns, I'll reach out to you or the group.

@henry-james-2 do you mean my device settings or is there a settings access in windy? If so I can't find it.

In Windy mobile app, select Settings in menu to change the temperature units.

Good news! I managed to change the temperature unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit on TheWord app for iPhone. After locating the settings icon and scrolling down, I switched from C to F. The app prompted me to log in, and once I did, the switch stuck. Remember to scroll all the way down to find the 'Save' option in red. It's possible that logging into the app while already being logged in on the website made the difference. Overall, it was an adventure, but I successfully customized the temperature unit!

Mine is set to F in settings yet the Widget on my iPhone Home Screen is set to C.

Cannot find a way to change this?

@s8mbnyk4zj Hi there, we are aware of this issue. Can you please switch the units in settings to for example celsius, then refresh the widget and then again to fahrenheit and refresh the widget again? When you change the units in the settings, the settings in the widgets will be synchronized.
