In February, two all-time maximum temperature records were broken. Firstly, all-time February record holding since 1897 was broken in Scotland. Secondly, a few days after that a new all-time British record was set for February in Trawsgoed, Ceredigion.
Now it's time to remind all-time March temperatures. The English record and the highest for March was set in Mepal (Cambridgeshire) on 29th March 1968. The temperature reached 25.6 °C.
The Scottish record was set in Aboyne (Aberdeenshire) on 27 March 2012 and is 23.6 °C.
The Welsh record was set in Prestatyn (Denbighshire) and Ceinws (Powys) on 29th March 1965 and is 23.9 °C.
The Northern Ireland record was set in Armagh (Co. Armagh) on 29th March and 29th March and is 21.7 °C.
