I am interested to this topic too. And also how to change the default model in my app opened as a default.

On the website Windy.com, when you have selected your preferred model, you can save the complete URL. Save this URL in a bookmark. Next time you will open the same model.
On the mobile Apps it’s not possible to change the default model.

@idefix37 I want this default settings in the mobile app too. I use the app, not the web page. And the situation with widget is same.

Hi,
I’m really interested on that option too.
Is it possible to setting a different default model please?
Everytime i change the spot, the model change too, and that’s annoying.

@verminal same question, would like to have the option to chabge/select default model in iOS app. Setting "Start-up layer: Use last overlay" don't have any effect, ECMWF still gets set as default every time the app is started.

I hate to sound sarcastic, but they said it was on their to-do list over 5 years ago.
So - any moment now…
But then I also saw the date of the post and now I understand that it was just an April Fool’s joke…

idefix37 contunues to suggest in various threads “use last overlay” which has NO effect over the forecast (nor the widget) and they continue to default to ECMWF
