Iran was hit hard by major floods

Iran was hit by 3rd major flood in just two weeks and it was hit really hard. In March–April 2019, widespread flash flooding affected large areas of the country, most severely in Golestan, Fars, Khuzestan, Lorestan, and other provinces.
- 400 towns and villages are affected
- 141 rivers have overflowed
- 3,000 roads were blocked
- 84 bridges were destroyed
- at least 62 people died nationwide
