... not only from weather balloons.
A new video from NASA, introduces us to the COSMIC-2 mission.
This mission (by using GPS data) will provide
a revolutionary increase in the number of atmospheric observations,
which will greatly benefit the accuracy of weather models.

On Tuesday, June 25, SpaceX launched the STP-2 mission and placed
in orbit the NOAA-sponsored COSMIC-2 satellites constellation.
Here you can find out "what is COSMIC-2" and "how does it work".

I'd say that understanding the English idiom "all Greek to you" makes you more than qualified to write something @Gkikas-LGPZ!
