Report your Weather Station Data to Windy

Precipitation is the most widely followed data , any reason why it's not included?
-
Now you can send atmospheric pressure in following units:
pressure
- real number [Pa]mbar
- real number [milibar, hPa]baromin
- real number [inches Hg]

@mcrossley Hi,
0
means variable wind. Otherwise, 1˚-360˚ describes the wind direction. -
Hi there everyone,
Can anyone help me setup my Davis PWS. I am using Cumulus. I can't seem to figure out how to get the URL into cumulus.
Thanks in advance. -
@abbas72 Cumulus 1 does not support this feature. Cumulus MX does.
-
Apologies if it has been requested already, but, is it feasible to be able to send total rainfall?
-
You can now access the weather data using the GET method, see topic here.

Hi, I have Netatmo meteo station and I want to contribute to Windy, but there is no simple way to connect Netatmo to Windy tah I found. I dont have any server to push the data via some script or there is some other method? Please give me some help. Thanks.
-
still not having any success with this. Upgraded my Cumulus MX (Thanks Mark), redid the config, Windy reports no data.
Deleted the station, created a new one (just in case its the ever renewing API issue) but still no go.Still have a suspicion that it is to do with API.

@Swigman A mistake I have twice before is people trying to use a Windy download API. You need a station upload API as per the first message in this post. Make sure you are using the correct one. The station API keys are veeerrry long.
-
This post is deleted! -
@Swigman Hmm does look like a problem with the API key generation, pretty sure mine doesn't change every time. We need someone from Windy to chip in. One thought (may not be relevant) are you running an ad-block or denying cookies on the page?
-
@Swigman I deleted your post, it is not a good idea to post your keys publicly...
-
@notebooker I got a reply from Windy on twitter a couple of weeks ago. They are working on direct netatmo integration.
-
anybody get the WifiLogger to work on this yet?
-
@marekd LOL. i understand your action but under the circumstances which of the 4 keys i posted and the ten other keys that i did not do you think is the one that is valid and that i should not post?
Honestly, tell me? because perhaps that one works!
-
@mcrossley Hi Mark, yes i think this is one for Windy to assist with. I did note that i am not the only person with the issue but it hasnt been addressed yet. Actually i do run an addblock on my Vivaldi browser but not on my Chrome or Edge browsers. I also run a Pi-Hole across my whole network but that should intercept blacklisted sites/links that are known advertising sources or phishing/virus sites.

@Swigman Every key is different because it is JWT. But every key is also valid key. If it does not work for you, you perhaps use the key a bad way.

Setup, tested and working nicely via Brian's www.weather-display.com software. Paul

@TomSlavkovsky said in Report you Weather Station Data to Windy:
Personal Weather Station Upload Protocol
There are two ways for data upload:
A/ GET ParametersThere is an error in the description: actually, only the "POST" method works for both ways.
Trying to update a single station measurements using a "GET" request - as implied by the paragraph - will lead to "Error 400 - Bad Request" message.
