Animated GIF:
Description - 10,000 ft Temperature and Geopotential pressure isolines with wind pattern to depict the 700hPa lifting structures (location and movement of lows, highs, ridges and troughs, just the sort of thing VFR pilots would want to see). Followed by cloud bases for the same area and time. Both @ 10 fps.
NOTE TO DEVELOPER: It would be nice/useful if we could have geopotential pressure isolines available for display on ALL windy overlays (with an altitude slider for the pressure altitude of the isoline display. i.e. I can get it for temp but I can't get it overlayed on the cloud bases display animation below (where it and the wind particle flows with that corresponding altitude would be very desirable to see the upper lifting structure shapes, troughs and movement).
Lastly, the otherwise excellent legend at the bottom of GIFs should be showing the entire display range of the model output for that overlay and not just a limited subset of its information range. If only the main Windy screen displays had legends that looked as good and were as useful and practical at these legends are - very nice!
