It would be great if this could be properly implemented!!<br />
The requirements are:<br />
LIFR Low Instrument Flight Rules, below 500 feet AGL and-or less than 1 mile<br />
IFR Instrument Flight Rules, 500 to below 1,000 feet AGL and/or 1 mile to less than 3 miles<br />
MVFR Marginal Visual Flight Rules, 1,000 to 3,000 feet AGL and/or 3 to 5 miles<br />
VFR Visual Flight Rules, greater than 3,000 feet AGL and greater than 5 miles</p>

There are still some problems.<br />
e.g. Fumicino Airport is VFR<br />
as clouds bellow 3000 ft are not covering half of the sky (SCT=3~4/8).</p>

I just posted about Fairbanks being IFR and the METAR reporting less than a mile vis while Windy shows currently 125 miles of visibility. So there's something there with the reporting not correlating or using the METAR to update airports.</p>
