Course, Speed, Date/Time overlay

I see there is a function to plot a course on Windy. It would be a fantastic function for mariners to then have a speed and departure date/time parameter to add to this course and be able to reasonably predict what weather you will experience at a certain point during a passage at sea. Is this something that would be complicated to implement?
