Words too small and there is nothing I can do

For instance, there is a vertical slider that says "Surface".
If I slide it up I need to use the Chromium Inspector to see that it now says

<div>150hPa<br />13,5km FL450</div>

at least in the HTML source, as I am helpless to make even a single word bigger on the whole interface.
CTRL+++++ has been hijacked to zoom the map, leaving not one single way for older users to make the words bigger, lest launch some action under the Americans with Disabilities Act?!?!.
