Windy launches Satellite layer

The capabilities of this application have become nothing short of extraordinary. And it keeps getting better and better. Congratulations on the creation of a truly amazing project.

I LOVE IT

This is by far my new favorite feature. I've been trying to find an easy way to track the clouds for astronomy and this is amazing. It was love at first sight. Windy.com as whole is really providing an amazing service, thank you to everyone who works on this product.

Marvelous... A-1.
-
Love the new satellite over lay.
-
I like what I see in the above sampling; please run with it;
the current radar option is a bit lame, although I like the lightning sound effects;
but if this is what will be ADDED to it, I think it will look and be awesome! -
Nekem nagyon tetszik a radar és az új műhold térkép! Csak így tovább Windy!

It is one of the most important and wanted additions to Windy because it not only shows the solar terminator in real time, but also a dynamic map of developing clouds which aids everyone visually, especially pilots and professionals alike. For me, it is much easier and useful to see clouds developing in real time rather than seeing a computer generated artificial interpretation which may or may not always be 100 percent accurate and harder to predict. Also, another thing I am waiting for is a UV index layer which would be useful for everyone since sunburns and UV radiation hazards are getting more common around the world but such maps to what I know right now are not readily available. Anyway, great job and thank you for this invaluable piece of information. And I hope everyone agrees. It's not only about math, it's also about ease of prediction, fun and safety.
