Windy launches Satellite layer

You've done great works.
The function is almost same as commercial weather service, that my company use it. -
great thanks

Great addition to the site/app! Are there any plans to add scatterometry wind vectors at some point? That, add adding the ability to change lat/lon setting to decimal degrees are top of my wish list.

@tcuser
Coordinates in decimal degrees are available:

Journeyman, agradezco su información desde la Costa Atlantica de Mar del Plata y su zona. Congratulaciones.

Fantastic!
Many thanks to Ivo and the windy team -
Infra: can u add more than two temperature limits, >-33° etc?
-
@cloud-maven1 Hi, unfortunately it is not possible now. I admit, that it is not always suitable to have one global limit.
-
@TZ
I agree with you, if we are talking about "color" limit.
But, why is there a limit in the temperature number shown at the picker?
It would be very convinient to have temp. readings for cloud tops at lower levels. -
@Gkikas-LGPZ Hi, thank you for your feedback, we will discuss it. I do not know if there is a general approach/formula for recalculating IR intensity to cloud temperature.

I really like windy and the new satellite layers
-
Heyyy. Muito bom no Brasil, Florianópolis, Praia do Campeche.
-
Great - Windy keeps on giving!
-
Looks great. Some bugs to fix for sure, but I love the option of a satellite like this. Keep up with the progression.
-
Ich bin noch am testen. Sieht aber bis jetzt gut aus!
-
Great and please keep on the same way.
Merry Christmas and very Happy new year 2020 to all of you.

I like the beta. However, if it could go to INFRA+ by default, it would be even better.

@stitch yes on metrogram

Love the new satellite coverage! One of the most important elements, showing the clouds as they evolve! Would LOVE to see a Wind Chill temperature along with your surface wind! That is extremely important in planning the days events where it's freezing or below and how to protect livestock and vegetation, let alone we human Popsicles! I'm originally from Western NY state north of Niagara Falls where its brutal when the Lake Effect starts and the air temp is under 20, making for Blizzard conditions.
