<p dir="auto">Yesterday, a Danish climatologist Steffen M. Olsen, who is an author of that viral photo, posted a video of the scene.</p>

<p dir="auto">Although the melting of ice in summer is normal in Greenland, the temperatures in that part of Greenland are in the extreme range even for this time of year.</p>
<p dir="auto">Olsen <a href="http://bit.ly/329H5In" rel="nofollow ugc">reports</a> that unusually high temperatures of 17ºC have been recorded in Qaanaaq.</p>
