Hi. I am interested in what Windy does exactly? I want to know what does the API do? Is it just a beautiful data plotter (I am not underestimating by saying just, it is awesome) or does it do computation behind the scene? What does the data sent to you by those databases look like? For example, I want to obtain wind speed and directions at a certain location. Am I accessing a part of a database (say ECMWF) or are there any numerical techniques behind it that you do on top of ECMWF's data, like Lagrange interpolation etc?
