@mocandrey yes I will do it ASAP
-
+1 vote for historical data..
-
@ivo Can you send it before Friday?
-
@mocandrey We really can't provide historical data at the time as explained in this thread. You have to buy the data directly from forecast model providers, we don't have any archive.

Please! include historical data (at least for one model and few variables)... it was very usefull on windity.... congrats for such amazing app..

Hello there!
I'm making a research and working with historical data.
Last year I found some importante data here but with the changes in server I lost everything. Exist some way to acess the old server and his data?I'm look for October 2016 data in South America.
Thanks for your colaboration!

@ivo are you sure. Is the data analytics correct. Check user types. Casual vs serious users need to be sorted. The reality is sailing users will like to see typical patterns and historical data.
-
Amazon Web Services . Try AWS S3 for fast and safe or aws Glacier for less frequent requested data and long term low cost with extremely strong redundancy.
-
@ivo One more vote for historical data Please.

Folks, things are moving forward. Please read this update on historical data.

I might be of some help to you in finding a sustainable business model.
For about a week now, I've been at home in Santa Barbara in the cross hairs downwind of a very large wildfire. If there is a blessing in this, It's that it led me to windy.com, for reasons you can imagine.
I saw your posts and a few others on the business model quest and have a few sustainable directions to offer (with a fun backstory as to how the idea presented itself).
Here's my profile . What's not there is the surfing, sailing, hang gliding stuff... so I'm also personally blown away by the project.
