Where to find sunrise & sunset info

If you are a photographer, an astronomer, or just a passionate sunset lover, you've probably wondered if Windy provides specific information about sunrise and sunset. It does!

Every location, which you may choose with the picker, search bar, or via favorites, gives you the exact time of the sunrise, sunset, as well as dusk. It's really simple, just a little hidden.

Choose the location, open the detail forecast, and scroll all the way right.

And the last but not least option is to use a new amazing plugin windy-plugin-sun-position developed by @jacobjo. Thank you! In Windy we already love it.

It gives you all the details you can imagine, moreover the sun position is visualized by the sundial at the picker-bottom. Read more about the plugin and check it once in a while for updates.

Instal the windy-plugin-sun-position via hamburger menu in the upper left corner, activate it by right clicking on the map and choose Sun position.

Just place the picker and magic happens.

This is really cool! I'm continually blown away by Windy's features – I didn't even know that plugins existed and I've been using Windy almost weekly for the last few years.

Unfortunately, this guide seems out of date already. The developer enabled the plugin for mobile use in v0.2.0 and moved its activation control to be via right clicking instead of the More layers menu. It's all written in the link you provided :)
