Trying to set a location offshore with the lat and long. Tried the various ways from another post with no luck. For example, 37 05.910, -74 37.397. This is the Norfolk Canyon about 60 miles east of Virginia Beach.

Another option would be if the overlays could be removed. This way I could find and mark by how it looking at just an ocean chart.

      Awesome app!!!

        It works for me.

But the distance is more than 60 NM.
You can « remove » the overlays by zooming in. It is useful to find a location on land, but the Windy base map does not show details of sea bottom.

Hmm, maybe @Ivo has to think about adding OpenSeaMap as an alternate base map
          (when zoom in).

Good idea even if Openseamap shows a coarse sea bottom with water height isolines of 100m / 250m / 500m / 750m / 1000.... That would be enough.
Otherwise there are much more precise marine charts like OpenCPN but would it be worth for Windy which is not a navigation app?
