Updating wind forecast while dragging the time slider

I like the wind animations when the screen is static but to get the idea how wind is developing (for sailing purposes), it would be essential fir the wind forecast to update as you drag the time slider. No animation needed, just the direction would be enough. Currently it only updates when you release the slider, making it clumsy to get an idea of the big picture. Any plans to support this?
