Distance and route planning for flying (PG etc.)

Is there any reason why the route planning is available on ECMWF layer only? It quite sucks with cloud bases and other data worldwide, they are missing on the vertical chart down below.
Cloudbase is very important information for all kinds of flying. It deserves it's own line in the chart. Like it was well designed in WXC Pro application (ori-go.net) -the blue double line:
Their blue and white contrast is much more clear. Your grey and white is very confusing (I always doubt what is a cloud and what is clear sky).
To be able to set hour for each turnpoint in the chart would be also very beautiful. The chart is changing much slower when sliding through time bar.
