Triggering a shift on the timeline bar

I want to make a button on my view which shows the condition of the map after 24hours when it's clicked.
That means, when clicked it has to adjust the progress bar of the timeline 24hours to the right.
To do that I was thinking of having this new button of mine to trigger a click on that position (according to coordinates) of the progress bar; but his way is not working, this trigger only generates a click on the progress bar which does nothing.Can anyone has an idea how to work around this?
