When a tornado is on the ground does it show? If not added can you add it?

So on radar when a tornado would be forming or close to forming will it show on radar? Like the lighting does????

Weather radars locate precipitation like droplets of rain, snow or hail.
Lighting strikes are detected by interconnected networks of spaced sensors.
Tornadoes are rotating column of high speed wind below thunderstorm cloud. There is no sensor or device able to detect them. Only an analyse of risk can be done by Meteorological Services.

As shown in this page the signature of a tornadoe is often a hook shape in the radar image. You may try to find it on Windy Radar. But in any case it is better to rely on National Weather Service warnings.
