Windy.com gives an amazing digital view of Hurricane Michael

Windy.com and Earth.nullschool.net renderings of the wind flow, while cool, are not based on realtime measurements. Rather, they are a visualization of the windfield as generated by the weather model simulations. It would be really interesting to see the US GFS and European model wind fields visualized side by side to see if/when and where they diverge.Change altitude to see where winds are the strongest. Comparing to Ventusky seems like 1/2 mile up or so are the strongest winds. About 6:00 AM EST winds were max 74 MPH at surface and 116 MPH up about 1/2 mile.
