Trying to understand map creation.

Right now im looking for a way to make mapping videos, with a general idea being in my head I would like to find out some good graphics since my previous map was low quality and did not show detail. It is also a problem with my editing software since it seems to blackout every few seconds. Lastly there is a problem with me trying to figure out how people get maps of smaller regions and make them fit into the video. word counter VidMate Mobdro
