HELP! Persistent notification on the profile pic.

Every time I log into this app, it shows a small, red numeric notification over the profile pic. To date, I cannot find any way to clear this notification. Perhaps I have overlooked it somewhere, but I would really like to make it go away. Unfortunately, from what I can tell, you can't. How do you make this thing clear the notification? Can it be done in the app? Do you have to go to the website? What is the secret formula to make this thing go away...?

It is most likely a weather alert. If you click at the Pic do you see any sign at favorite cities? If so just delete alert
