Render Windy Layer in existing Leaflet map

I have an existing mapping application based on React and Leaflet. I want to add Windy as an optional base layer.
Is it possible to provide a URL to a Leaflet
TileLayer, instead of providing a<div>and having Windy create an entire Leaflet Map? I'd like to avoid having to manage multiple Leaflet Maps on the same page (layer control would be a nightmare!).
