<![CDATA[Location search needs to support Lat / Lon Entry]]>The CA Real Time Fire Web site recommends Windy for estimating a wild fire’s (detected by satellites) estimated movement direction. The problem with your application is that a wildfire location is specified by its Lat / Lon coordinates. If you post this information into Windy’s Search field, it is unable to interpret a Lat / Lon location. It only recognizes text names.

You can search a location by its coordinates on Windy. You just need to use the right format in the search field as explained here:
