This is the only reason I am using other weather services than windy, even though it is interpolated, its a big difference to be able to predict the peak of a swell or wind event when you can have 1 hr steps instead of 3 hours steps. My home spots are very shifty and this more detailed information can be the difference between a score and a skunk... (Ps I know that the 1 hr stepper is available in the GFS model, but ECMWF has more resolution, so I trust this more).</p>
