Apocalyptic images from Spain and the Balearics hit by fatal floods

Spain is having tough week, when it comes to weather. Torrential rain has caused fatal flooding in parts of Spain and the Balearics, starting Monday evening, when the Madrid region was hit by a hail storm, through Thursday, with some parts of eastern Spain receiving even the heaviest rainfall on record.
As you can see on our rain totals forecast layer, Valencia and Murcia are among the most affected areas.
