How to use a route planner

@Paspox
It is still possible to import a GPX file.
-> In menu select Distance & planning.
Then import your file, you will create a route with the Route planner features. -
@idefix37 - thanks for your response, but where are the favorites located?

@idefix37 Thanks for your answer.
My question really is about having the weather in sync with the position on the route.
Once the gpx is loaded in the planner, when I move the mouse left/right (in the bottom part of the screen), I can see highlighted the corresponding waypoint in the route but the weather doesnt change, it doesnt sync with the date of that particular point on the route.
As seen on the video that I linked, it was possible in the past and I was wondering if it was still the case.
Maybe it is a premium feature only ?
Thanks, -
Please show a screenshot of the planning table. I guess the speed of the boat is not correctly enabled.

In the video link I posted above, starting at 3'50", you see the whole procedure.
The video is from 3 years ago so things might have changed but he doesn't need to select boat trip or to enter any boat speed, straight away, the weather and the points on the route are in sync.When I do it, I get this
The weather doesn't change as I move the mouse left to right.
If I do click on boat (which again was not needed in the video), and select a speed, the weather is in sync (but it's a premium feature). -
@Paspox
OK I see. This not the standard way of using the Route planner and I can’t say why it’s no longer work as it is shown in this video. Sorry. -
@idefix37 Too bad. Thanks anyway.

I made a test with a GPX file from the Uploader library in Windy.
I found 2 conditions to see the weather map changing with the boat position along the route.-
Set an average speed with the speed button ON
-
Click on the table at different time stamps. Not just grab the small grey panel.
In your case I suppose your file includes a variable speed calculated by the routing software.

@idefix37 Thanks a lot for looking into it !
I tried something different : importing my gpx file in the Flight planner plugin !!! and it kinda works : I do have to set an average speed which is not ideal but apart from that, the weather map changes with the position along the route.In the gpx file I'd like to display, for each point I have a timestamp and a position (lat/long). There is no speed in the file.
But you are right that if you were to calculate the speed, it would be highly variable, anywhere btw 0 and 30kts.
