      @sasbibic Which device do you have? Also the Android version would be helpful.

          @sasbibic Can you please check this article, MIUI can use their own SW to adjust battery optimization and it could affect our widgets.

            @Ondřej-Šutera I've been trough all of this. This option is not present in developermenu. It's interesting that sometimes, I can add widget to home screen and is also refreshing few times then it start burning battery and stops refreshing content. But most of the time adding widget to home screen results in black square with windy logo in corner and three dots in upper right corner, this are nonclickable, when touching them it starts windy app, instead of showing refresh/settings option. I'm also developer, I wrote some small apps on Android too, so if I can provide any more info to You, please say so.

              @sasbibic Hi. Have you tried adding a widget with a location from favorite locations instead of current location? Does it behave differently? Thanks for the answer.

                @MarkNagy yes I've tried all the possibilities that I could think off. But, there is update on the issue. I've enabled permission under Other permissions: Open new windows while running in background. I'm not sure if this solved the problem, but I succeeded adding several windy widgets. So for now problem solved. Thank You for your assistance.

                    All widgets disappeared from iPhone settings (all screens).

                        Tide times are wrong on 24 hour clock. Eg 23:00 is in the day. 11:00 is at night on the app

                          @Mark-Levey-2
                          This is likely because tide times are displayed as UTC time, shown with the “Z” of Zulu time.
                          So depending where you live there is a discrepancy with local time.
