Zoom iOS 13
-
Hi, after iOS update to 13, map is not moving with one finger, instead its zooming in and out. Cant move the map with one finger and zoom in/out with two.
-
Hi Alex, could you please specify the version of iOS? Is that a beta version or just iOS 13?
-
Regular 13.0 updated from 12 yesterday

@TomSlavkovsky
Hello,
I have the exact same problem, it started after updating to IOS 13 on my iPhone 7. (This is the official release not the beta). The problem does not show up right away, is starts after trying to move on th map, however it does occur every single time I open the app. The only solution I have found is to restart the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and nothing has changed. It is not showing in the error consol.
It is like the app is confusing the one finger and two finger gesture.
I hope this will help in fixing this bug.
Otherwise this is the best app ever !! -

@RHspartan42 @alex8791 Hi guys, could you send us a screencast? I am testing it on iPad Pro, iPhone X, iPhone SE and iPhone 8 and it works fine. I need more info from your side. It seems that Apple will release iOS 13.1 shortly, maybe this will fix it. Let us know

Same problem here, regular ios13/iphoneX.

@hgodin please follow up this link https://community.windy.com/topic/9672/several-issues-with-upgrade-to-ios-13

I had this problem as wel, but am now on the iOS 13.1 beta and can't reproduce it anymore.
I think the problem started every time when you zoom or pan on the map and 1 finger goes over the edge of the screen. From that point, it always behaved as there was 1 touch input from that edge of the screen + another input from me when I wanted to zoom or pan.
Result was very strange zoom behavior.
This was only in the app, in Safari, it behaved as intended. -
@BarboraSamkova it seems to work for now. thanx
-
@alex8791 well, it works until you switch on weather radar. after selecting this view, the error reappears.
-
@alex8791 thank you for your feedback. We are still investigating the problems
-
@TomSlavkovsky just saw your comment. do u still need the cast?
-
@alex8791 the cast is not necessary. It seems that panning and zooming are now fixed in iOS 13.1.
