Ship Reports - Mobile Stations

I see the API allows updating station location coordinates. If reporting from a moving ship and the location is updated with weather information is this a reasonable use of the service? Historical values for a station are typically assumed to be in a single location. Since a roaming/mobile station is moving does that mess things up?

@kaicurry Many of the offshore stations labelled "ship" are, in fact, buoys.
