<p dir="auto">This model (arome, 2.5km grid then) is a must have for the paragliding community in france, as it is often the more accurate. It would be great if it could be implemented. I guess the lack of it prevent windy to become a complete source of weather forecast for our activity, and thus to become the uncontested leader on this purpose.</p>

Windy uses AROME 1.3km version. This version does not provide data in altitude. It should be necessary to use the 2.5km resolution version as explained here:<br />
