Hurricans are called "Typhoons" in the Pacific and Acapulco is on the Pacific side.

No, in eastern Pacific, along Mexico and California coast, Tropical cyclones are called Hurricanes.
Typhoon is the name used in Asia.
Hurricane is the name used in North Atlantic, Eastern and Central Pacific

@Muxtar Hi, the location name is related to data, we get, from OpenStreetMap.org and we are aware that certain locations need to be updated.
