Would you like to receive Windy Alerts as push notifications to your mobile device?
a framework feature for generating alarms, and a set of predefined, selectable (possibly user-contributed) JS fragments (really condition expressions) which can be parameterized:
that would go a long way without the complexity of a full-blown programming language based solution
We prepare slight overhaul of 2 years old "Windy Alerts" feature. If you have any ideas, or thoughts, now is the time to let us know.
And btw, would you like to receive Windy Alerts as push notifications to your mobile device?
Yes, definitely this option would be nice to have.
And I also think that it would be extremely useful to also be able to have a Windy Alert Notification for CAP Alerts / Weather Warnings too.
In fact I wrote a post about it (together with some other suggestions for the Weather Warnings Layer) in April 2019:
So if for example there is a flood warning issued (or sudden snow/ice - winter is coming) then the user will receive a push notification to instantly warn them about these conditions.
I think this is a huge safety feature.

Yes. It would be a great feature for those who watch the weather for boating.
Also a common request here from the Community is the ability to be be to set multiple alerts for the same location.

Yes, I would like to receive for example realtime rain alerts or severe weather warnings by push notifications on my Android.

@ivo yes. i’d like a text alert option and/or push.
i’d like to be able to create combinations of rain wind temp with thresholds. usgs allows river discharge flow rates between x and y, for example. i use that for fishing. too high or too low, can’t go.
