Wind visualisation

Could you please examine displaying wind visualisation at different altitudes from a 3D perspective. Eg, Microsoft Flight Sim In-Depth preview has this with wind blowing over a mountain so you can see what if may look like.

Remember that global models have a resolution between 9km and 22km ! So it’s impossible to display such a picture by weather models. What they show here is like a video game at very high resolution. For the weather forecast, maybe in 20 or 30 years....
