Default compass direction wrong

After starting the Windy app and then selecting Weather radar, the blue location/compass marker defaults to showing my correct location but also defaults to show the compass DIRECTION pointing NORTH.
When rotation/turn is applied, the compass pointer continues to points to a direction in relation to NORTH.
The default direction will only be correct if the display device is actuall rotated to NORTH upon startup.
The app should DEFAULT to showing the true or real direction that the display device is pointing in at startup i.e. if the display device such as a mobile phone is held such tgat it is pointing WEST then the DEFAULT direction should also be WEST so that any change in direction is displayed correctly too. -

On the Radar overlay, the blue dot with an arrow does not give a compass direction. Its direction is inconsistent. Just ignore it.
