How to find old town maps?

Hi, hoping I can get some help.

I’ve been working on a story set in New Hampshire in the early 1980’s, and I’d really like to have some maps to look at for reference.

I found a few sites that have maps from that time period, but they’re nearly all geological survey maps. I’d specifially like street maps, or even better, maps that show specific buildings or properties.

Is there a way to find this information online? If not, is there a chance that if I went to a town hall or library that they might have them?
