      Hi everyone

      Can anybody explain whats wrong with CO layer over Ukraine for last few days?
      Is it a program bug, or wheater anomaly?

      Thanx for answers

        @Sovich
        The high concentration of CO over Ukraine is probably due to wildfires.

        This NASA picture of wildfires and industrial fires is shown by MODIS and VIIRS satellites. You can check it on:

        At same time as CO concentration on Windy, you can check NO2 and PM2.5 which are also (but not only) increased by wildfires.

          @idefix37 Thanx for the answer.

          It seem's to be true. But we have no "fire alert" on broadcast (

          Also strange looking "Fog" (mist) layer

            These fires are probably of limited size, but numerous enough. Can be of agricultural origin? For several days the anticyclonic conditions over Ukraine can thus maintain a high concentration of CO. Specially if foggy conditions.
