The satellite layer shows a cloud formation in the southwest of the Azores that looks like a tropical cyclone of relatively small size (130km) with a well-defined eye.

But it is surprising to see this tropical phenomenon in an extra-tropical depression (994 hPa) embedded in a trough extending from the Azores to the British Isles.

The global models do not see this cyclone, but the NHC forecasts 80% of formation chance.
