I would like to confirm the temporal/spatial resolution and the forecast horizon (lead time) available for each model provided in Windy API.
If possible, could you share, by model, the details such as grid spacing (horizontal resolution), vertical/horizontal resolution notation, time step (output interval), and the maximum number of forecast days?

I’m considering subscribing to the Windy API Point Forecast.
According to the docs, the supported models are (ECMWF excluded due to licensing):

Arome (France and surroundings)

IconEU (Europe and surroundings)

GFS (global)

GFS Wave (global, excluding parts of Hudson Bay, the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea, most of the Arctic Ocean)

namConus (CONUS + Canada/Mexico)

namHawaii (Hawaii)

namAlaska (Alaska and surroundings)

cams (global)

However, I can see MSM and METEOBLUE models displayed on the Windy web/app maps.
Could you clarify why these two are not available in the Point Forecast API?

Is it due to licensing/redistribution policies (JMA/meteoblue)?

Or are there technical constraints (grid/format/sync cadence)?

If there’s a roadmap or alternative models planned for the API, I’d love to know.

MSM availability in the API matters a lot for high-quality forecasts over Japan, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

And, I’m also curious about each model’s temporal and spatial resolution, and how many days ahead the forecasts are available. I searched the entire Windy website but couldn’t find this information.
