On a clear and beautiful night, imagine my surprise when I saw this image. Recently, I have seen this false rain over and over. As an area that sees frequent severe thunderstorms and hurricanes getting this correct is important. Especially for premium subscribers who expect better.

@korina Ok, thank you for your response but >10 minutes should not be considered "normal". When I posted this concern, my weather radar image was 17 minutes old which is not good at all, especially when dodging fast moving thunderstorms in South Florida. Is there anything that can be done about this delay? A setting perhaps?

Why is the radar data/imaging consistently 10+ minutes old? Sometimes >15 minutes. As a premium subscriber I was under the impression that the data was faster/more frequently updated. After being a premium subscriber for a few weeks, it seems like presented data is older.  in this case the freshest data is 17 minutes old. I have fiber internet and 5ghz wifi so my network is not the issue here.

As a resident of South West Florida, these bogus radar images which come from Havana and Camaguey Cuba significantly interfere with legitimate images over my area. Is there a way to block them or filter them out? This is not a one time thing. I see this swirl, especially from Havana, almost every time I use Windy radar layer.
