Great product you have here!
A great addition would be to add layers/overlays of USGS Earthquake(s)/magnatude, and current fire areas shown with GIS overlays of affected areas. Not just a little icon, but an actual GIS overlay showing affected areas. Fire overlays should show projected progress and % containment as well.
When the rains come, if they come, potential flooding and mudslide areas in GIS would be extremely helpful too.
