    • RE: 10 day forecast gone

@whitmart14 I would argue that Windy is not like all the other apps you reference that provide free 10 day forecasts. If this was true why not just jump ship to one of those apps and get the data you want for free? Personally I am a Windy subscriber because the data they provide, and the services they offer is much better than other weather apps. This is why I became a Premium subscriber. After using many weather apps for years, most of them free, I saw the value that Windy provides. They provide what others don't which is worth my money, and the fact they provide a bunch of this for free is a bonus.

I understand how paying for something that used to be free is frustrating but I think its great that there was a period of time where we got this amazing service for free.

@Suty thank you so much! That worked great, just a little hidden to find at first. Thank you!

I have the same issue. I’d like to turn off the 16 day forecast.

    • App route planner forecast

Its my understanding that you cannot see the forecast along a route in the Windy app. Is this something that could be incorporated in a future update? I use the app much more than the website and this would be a very useful feature.

      Thanks!

    • RE: Wildfire Smoke Forecast

I’ll second this request. I live in Colorado where wildfires can be intense and I haven’t found an air quality layer that seems to accurately show the current conditions or forecast. I have looked in to dust mass and CO2 but neither seem to reflect current conditions well. I don’t know what data they use but I have found the OpenSnow app to have the most accurate smoke layer data.

    • RE: Compare feature not working properly?

@idefix37 I see my mistake now. Models were in a different order than I thought. Looks like all is right with the world again. Thanks for the response!

    • Compare feature not working properly?

I’ve noticed that when I’m on Windy iOS app that when I use the compare feature to compare forecast models the temperature highs are different than when you choose a different model (GRFS) by itself. Is this a bug since the same model will have different highs depending on if you choose to view the data by itself or in the compare screen?

      Thanks,
      Andy
