With the updated version of Windy it now takes clicking three times (once on the model name on the bottom bar, again to select the model you want and a third time to close that popup box or click away into the main Windy screen to get back to seeing the information).

I regularly switch between weather models to compare forecasts and try to make accurate predictions for where to send resources. I have multiple tabs of Windy open at a time (10-40 tabs) and use them to analyze weather in different cities during a planning meeting. Having to click around multiple times to switch between weather models makes our meetings run much less efficiently and could cause us to make less accurate predictions due to increased time needed to swap between data sets.

Please change the new bottom bar to either include all of the weather models to allow single clicking between them or add hotkeys to swap between weather models. The new system causes a lot of friction and may force me to look for alternatives for weather prediction.

I agree this is a poor change and causes a lot of friction in planning. Snapping quickly through the weather models was very helpful and now it takes 3 clicks just to get the model changed and back to looking at the meteogram. They really need to switch it back or give us hotkeys to change the weather model.
