@Korina Sorry I should have further clarified. This is an issue with LIVE streams, they do not play in natively in your timelapse player. They open in a new tab, and sometimes its an SWF file.

Not sure how you guys would fix this without re-encoding the stream or getting in touch with the owners..

I realize that this can't be detected beforehand... But you guys could probably crawl your archive and add a flag?

I'm guessing these cameras were perhaps added back in the day when flash files were handled natively.

Leaving this in the hands of the fine Windy developers to do something about if it's even possible.

There's a number of live streams that I've noticed that seem to serve a .swf file for viewing.

Is there any browser that has a working flash player enabled by default lol?

Is there anything that can be done about this?

Maybe there should be an option to exclude those results because the majority of devices won't know what to do with a .swf file.

In the gif I just removed the overlapping elements, but there is probably a cleaner fix you could implement.

Looking a bit closer, the #infoBox element has a higher z-index value than the #overlayPlay element. So the play button can't be clicked.

A simple enough fix could be to set #infoBox display: none, or set the #overlayPlay z-index to a higher value?

I'm noticing that the Webcam embedded player doesn't work so well on mobile devices.

I'm trying to build a fun project to show Windy webcams on a map for the viewable map and also allow for filtering by live, hd, and categories.

But I can see that the Windy API category modifier intersects the selected number of categories. It doesn't list webcams that match any of the categories added to the modifier.

Is there any plan to allow functionality in the API to return all webcams that match any of the categories selected? I could achieve this with multiple API calls, but I don't think you guys at Windy HQ would want me to do that.
