M’y comments here were only intended to explain why the AROME domain was more restricted now. Personally I prefer the 1.3km version which is much more useful in mountains and at sea. The 2.5km version which offers altitude forecasts is mainly of interest to people who practice aerial activities and were strongly asking for it as @Suty shows.
Yes, for me it is important at sea because of sailing.
@Suty Yes, I know. I was probably more focused on my particular case. It's a pity, because it is really used a lot in the NW of the Iberian Peninsula. Nevertheless, thanks for your explanations.
@Suty but the coverage of the model is much more restricted... is it impossible to maintain both? perhaps in those areas where 2.5 does not reach, being able to select 1.3...

I can see the Arome 1.3 km version being active.You are referring to the mobile app where the change has not been applied yet.

@TZ 🙁 Sorry to read this. In NW Spain, this model really was very reliable, especially in the Galician Rias. If there is any possibility for you to value it again, I think it is of great interest in this area for sailing and other nautical sports.
Can you confirm if the model will be reinstated? It is important in view of the subscription....
