I just learned about windy.com. Have tried it on Windows 10 Edge browser and BlackBerry browser on PassportSQW100-4/10.3.3.2163. The mobile site is great on the BlackBerry. Only issue is I don't want the app and I would like to remove the app download button. An option or setting to do that would be great.

RE: “You have changed the Windy Icon”
Different strokes. The new icon is fine as far as I'm concerned. But an option to select different icon styles would be cool.

RE: Dew point
Are you looking for a definition? If so, here is the deal. Atmospheric air contains water vapor. There is a limit to the amount of water vapor that air can contain, which depends on pressure and temperature. When the amount of water vapor contained is at the limit, we say the air is saturated. Dew point is the temperature at which the will become saturated. As air cools below its dew point, moisture condenses to form liquid water.

RE: Weather radar scroll options not working correctly
@Suty Thanks. No other questions. I guess I missed an announcement, and it didn't occur to me to click on the white portion.

RE: Stations Widget - iOS 26 - nearest No Data
I'm having the same issue as the OP.
iPhone 16 pro, iOS 26.2, Windy version 47.2.1.
The station I select manually and have marked as a favorite is at N30° 9' 8", W85° 40' 1". I am less than a mile from this station as the crow flies (1.7 km according to Windy). So far as I can tell from the stations that Windy finds, this is the closest to me. I guess I should caveat that with the fact that I've only been looking at professional stations. Perhaps there is an amateur station closer and there is some problem with it causing the widget to display no data when I select nearest, I don't know. [EDIT to add: I went back and looked. I selected sort stations by distance and this is the nearest station, according to Windy.)
I only started using this widget the other day and so do not have long term experience with it. I left the widget set at nearest for a while (an hour or two) thinking maybe it takes time to update. But when I select the station from favorites the data show immediately.
When I have selected nearest, the widget displays in red, with the Windy logo on the upper right, a "globe" type figure with a slash through it at the left in white, and No data to the right of that in white font.
I've tapped on the widget to launch the Windy app and make sure I'm logged in even though it working fine when I select a station from favorites.
I don't know what else to try as far as troubleshooting. I could delete the app and reinstall it, but I don't see the point as the Widget is working when I manually select the station. But any ideas, I'll be happy to try.

RE: Which forecast model do you trust the most for local conditions?
@Bogan-Silver Be careful, what works for me or others may not be what works for you. Be patient and compare model forecasts to what actually happens at your location. Also note that one model may be better in some respects and another model may be better in other respects. For example, I'm usually focused on forecast low temperature during the cool seasons and tropical storms during hurricane season. And it is also possible what you observe about model forecast versus reality depends on the season. For example on that, precipitation forecasts are hit and miss in my area during seasons when rain comes from pop up storms versus more reliable during seasons when rain commonly comes from fronts moving west to east across the area.
With those caveats, when I'm paying attention to it, the ECMWF seems to be what I rely on for low temperature predictions, but I also pay attention to the iPhone Weather app. For tropical storms, also ECMWF, but I also pay attention the NOAA NHC.

RE: HELP!
Also Macbook Air here, but running iOS 26.0.1. Never seen that before. Ideas: check page zoom in browser settings, and if not that, check zoom in accessibilty settings for the device.

Weather Station Location Information
Background: I happened to notice the lat and long of a weather station near me is incorrect. I checked the coordinates against the National Data Buoy website and found it is wrong, too. Long story short, the gov moved the station a short distance away after Hurricane Michael. I emailed the National Data Buoy Center and surprise they agreed and updated the their website. I checked Windy to see if it had changed and it hasn't, not yet anyway. The station is PACF1, a US Government facility. The correct location is 30°8'59" N 85°39'52" W.
Question: Where does Windy draw the station information? Should it update when the source updates? So far, I know the National Data Buoy Center and Tides and Currents, both under NOAA, give information on this station, and the coordinates match. There may be others.

RE: Stations Widget - iOS 26 - nearest No Data
@idefix37 I got that. I've set a favorite station. I've created the widget on my iPhone. Once I've done that, I have the option to edit the widget. When I first do that (edit the widget) I have an option to display either "Nearest" or "Favorites" station. If I pick "Favorites" and select station, the widget displays the data as you show in your image. That is not the problem. The problem is if I select "Nearest" the display is No data as I described above.
In short, the issue is as summarized by the OP. The widget is useable. If I select a favorite, the widget works. I'm just confused by the failure of the Nearest function. Or is that not a failure to function as intended?

RE: New satellite slider not working properly
This is something that has been bugging me, too. I've been tempted to ask about it but held off. If I just look at the image animation and try and ignore the progress bar, it looks fine. And even though I think I understand why the progress bar does what it does, it is still distracting. Maybe I'm just used to the way it used to be.

RE: Windy app for MacOS, can't log in
I just checked after seeing this thread, and the App Store on my MacBook says the Windy app is not compatible. @zinkosaurus It does seem you installed a different app, not an app for Windy.com.

RE: How to mark a spot on the map as favorite?
FWIW An alternate method, on desktop, is to right-click on the spot on the map, then select forecast for this location in the little window that opens. From there, mark as a favorite as you would if you had entered the name of a location in the search.
On the app (at least on iPhone), tap on the spot on the map, then select forecast for this location at the top of the screen in the options that appear.
Additionally, a search can be performed on latitude and longitude as opposed to place name, then mark as a favorite.

RE: Start up screen suggestion for people who use VPNs
@MountainDog Not arguing. I use a VPN on both Mac and iPhone, and Windy finds location fine on either one. It's been a long time since I used a Windows machine, and I'm not sure, but I wonder if there is a permission setting that needs to be changed. I'm curious to see what others say.
EDIT: FWIW I checked this again on my MacBook Air, thinking maybe the result would be different for different VPN locations. This time, Windy in browser will not find location regardless of VPN location. However, I turned off the VPN and even closed the browser and started over, and Windy still won't find my location. Not sure what is going on now.
EDIT 2: I switched browsers (from Edge to Safari) and find location works with or without VPN being on. Note: I had not used Windy in Safari and so had to allow Safari to access location. Not sure what is happening with Windy in Edge this morning, except I often encounter little issues like this where something works or doesn't work depending on the browser.
